FREE CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES
Enjoy free performances and hands-on activities from 1 – 4 PM at Springfield High School. Enter the Commons area from the Washington & Parker Street doors.
OPENING CEREMONY & FANTASTIC FIREWORKS
At 6:15 PM, join the 25th Annual First Night® Springfield Opening Ceremony and Fireworks Display by Nostalgia Pyrotechnics.
FOOD SERVICES
Children’s Afternoon Activities 1 – 4 p.m.
Springfield High School PTO will host a snack and beverage station with a variety of food items and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
Hoogland Center for the Arts 6 – 10 p.m.
In the Dining Room on the Lower Level, a variety of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Seating available with ongoing entertainment.
Central Baptist Church 6:45 – 10 p.m.
In Merriam Hall on lower level, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Seating available in the entertainment area.

Multi-talented Mayor’s Awards for the Arts Award winner, John T. Crisp, Jr. is equally adept as a visual artist or musician. During the afternoon children’s activities, he assists the young artist in creating a work of art from a lump of clay.
