2007 Fashion Show and Marketplace

The Wearable Arts Fashion Show and Marketplace showcases original clothing, accessories, and jewelry designed by artists in Illinois and surrounding states, this annual event is unique to central Illinois.

In addition, cutting edge designs from fashion design students from Dominican University, Illinois State University, and the International Academy of Design and Technology will be highlighted.

A special showcase of creations from nationally recognized special guest artist Luella Doss, of Grafton, Wisconsin will also be featured.

The Marketplace is free to the public. It offers artists a sales venue and shoppers the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind wearable works of art. The fashions modeled at the Wearable Arts Fashion Show can be purchased here.

giraffe shirt Fashion Show: 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
The highlight of the day is the Fashion Show where members of community organizations model clothing, accessories, and jewelry – ranging from the fun and funky to sophisticated and elegant. The show features creations for all ages, from children to adult, designed by the participating artists. Tickets may be purchased for the Fashion Show.

Reserve your tickets now for the Fashion Show: Individual – $30. Table of 8 – $200. (Tickets include dessert and beverage. Cash bar and raffle drawing also available.)
